How I Work
What are your working hours/when can I contact you?
My working hours are usually Mon-Fri 9am-2.45pm. I generally keep an eye on my emails though so may reply evenings/weekends if it’s a quick-ish query.
Are you happy to collaberate with other freelancers I already work with?
Yes of course. This is often a good way to get the good marketing solution without employing a team directly.
Do you work with businesses in other industries?
Absolutely! I have a mix of clients from a range of industries, not just in healthcare, education and travel. It can often be beneficial to get an external perspective and having a fresh set of eyes on a website can make a real difference, finding new digital marketing opportunities.
Do you build websites from scratch?
My forté is to support and improve websites that are already live but I can, and I have built websites from scratch and I’m happy to have a chat about it to find out more about what you’re after. If you are looking for a relatively small new website I’d be happy to help. And/or, I’m also happy to work with developers on your behalf to coordinate the build of a site, making suggestions and using my experience to streamline the process for you. Whatever stage you’re at with your developers, whether still in the design/wire frame stage, or a bit further along in the testing/pre-launch phase, if you’d like extra support to get the site completed, let me know.
Do you do PPC?
Although I have done in the past, and can offer some advice, this isn’t a service that I currently offer. However, if you have an account or ads that are already set up and running I’d be happy to take a look as part of an existing retainer or offer some advice on a power-hour for example. If you’re looking to get new ads set up, I know some excellent PPC experts I can refer you to.
Do you use AI?
Yes, AI can be really useful for many aspects of my work. I often use it for ideas, to help kick start my own brain in to creating something brilliant or develop an idea I already had. So far though I don’t find AI gives me good enough finished content, despite numerous prompts and trying different LLMs. Having said that, aside from content, it can be really handy in other elements of the day-to-day e.g for writing, checking and fixing website code when needed.
Pricing & Contracts
How much do you charge?
I have a few standard package options, which you can find out more about on the Prices page. If these aren’t what you’re looking for then get in touch and we can discuss a quote on a more bespoke basis.
How much notice do I need to give to cancel a contract?
A minimum of 1 month is required unless otherwise stated in the agreement when we start working together.
What are your payment terms?
These will be specified before we start working together but usually payment is required to confirm the work can start and then paid monthly, within 14 days of the invoice date.
